“In secrecy and silence, I saved my whole family and maybe for the first time in my life, I felt capable.”

It’s 1918. It’s 1968. It’s 2018.

Ibsen’s tragic heroine is reimagined in three different time periods, their tales interweaving and overlapping. It’s nearly Christmas and our Noras are filled with hope. Their husbands have new jobs. Good jobs. Good enough that soon their debts won’t matter anymore. And that will be the end of their secrets. They just need to hold on a little longer. And then they’ll be the perfect wife. The perfect mother. And soon, they’ll have the perfect Christmas.
